Term 4 Fun!

Here are our latest pics from Room 4 cool kids.  Last week we went to the Art Gallery and found out all about Maths and Art.  We made some rotational symmetry creations and looked at Mondrian and the patterns he created in his art work! We also had lots of fun at Dance with Victoria this week.  We had to create a chair dance!

We have been enjoying Hockey lessons with Courtney last term and this term.

Here is our latest Inquiry topic focus... Our Big Idea of Change continues for the year!  This term we are looking at the idea of Sustainability for People, Our Planet and the Future.

Our inquiry this term has been about 'How People Change'.  We have been looking at what we need to keep our bodies going and to live for a long time.  Last week Dr Jessica Crampton (Miss Crampton's sister) spoke to us about body systems, in particular the digestive system.  We got to ask her some of our wonderings...
Earlier in the term, we had Josh (Miss Suszko's brother) talk to us about fitness and food for fuel.  We even got to do some of Josh's exercises!!!

Planting Day at Glenfalloch

We had a great adventure last Friday at Glenfalloch Gardens with Room 2 when we helped out with planting trees.  Thanks to Marty Steel for the great photos!

Term 3

We have an exciting and busy term planned! Thanks to Ms Dixon for all her great work with Room 6 last term.  Every Friday we have Dance with Victoria! We love to dance, it is one of our favourite things to do!! Last week we visited Harold from the Life Education bus.  We found out that our body needs exercise, kai, water (H2O). sleep, oxygen (O2), rest/sleep to keep going....
